Terracotta

The natural terracotta tiles from Maora Ceramic are hand-made products using a meticulous non-industrial process based on traditional methods that date back centuries. By only using raw materials of natural origin, each tile is shaped by hand and then fired in a wood-burning oven at over 1,000 ºC for approximately 48 hours to make them resistant to very low temperatures. Our natural clay has a rough appearance and uneven texture; in other words, it varies slightly in shape, size and tone. Its warm and natural tone will age slowly over the years to produce a unique timeless beauty.
