La sastrería

Masquespacio created La Sastrería, a fashionable venue located in the heart of the maritime district of Valencia. The design of this restaurant evokes the local tradition of taking chairs out on to the streets to escape the summer heat. The patterns created with custom tiles reinterpret the building façades of the district and, in the centre of the space, a sculpture made from ceramic pieces to recreate an enormous wave takes pride of place. The bar, the washbasins and the plates have also been hand made by the craftsmen at Maora.
